As a governmental office, in filling permanent positions we follow civil service rules which provide for an open, competitive process in making appointments. The most efficient way for you to apply for future openings is to register on-line so that you receive up-to-date information regarding openings as they arise.

Please go here and click on the link entitled "Complete a Job Interest Card to receive automatic e-mails of future Job Notification." Job openings for permanent positions with our office are posted on the website and you must apply on-line in order to be considered for them.

You may also consider clicking on the link entitled "Create an application profile with Hennepin County." The application profile allows you to create an account to apply on-line for any open positions in our office. This is something that you may want to do so that you are ready to apply for openings that are of interest to you.
