be@school and anti-bullying programs focus on setting children and youth up for success in school and later in life. These early intervention and diversion programs are collaborations with schools, libraries, and other community partners and have been successful in decreasing the need for court intervention.
When necessary, Child Protection and Juvenile Prosecution take action to protect the safety and well being of at-risk youth, as well as the larger community. Juvenile Prosecution handles all issues with youth ages 10-17; younger children are referred to Child Protection.
