Tremaine Bucholz sentenced for 2023 drive-by shooting

12/30/2024

Tremaine Michael Bucholz, 27, was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 30 years for the killing of Stevi Palacio on Aug. 9, 2023.

Earlier this month, a Hennepin County jury delivered guilty verdicts against Mr. Bucholz on one count of first-degree murder while committing a drive-by shooting and one count of second-degree intentional murder.

“Stevi should still be with her family,” Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty said. “The verdict and the time Mr. Bucholz will spend in prison won’t replace their loss, but he will be held accountable and no one else will be harmed.”

Case Number: 27-CR-23-19150
