Adult trial updates

Felonies are heard by juries of 12 people and composed of randomly selected citizens from a cross-section of qualified county residents. Jury selection can take anywhere from half a day to a week or more depending on the type of case. A defendant may choose to have a trial heard by a jury or judge. The Victim Witness division will help you understand the criminal court process and keep you informed about the progress of the case.
