Bloomington brothers sentenced in the 2019 murder of William Albrecht

Two brothers from Bloomington, Preston Sharlow and Skylar Labarge, were sentenced for the November 2019 murder of William Albrecht, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman announced Friday.

Sharlow, 34, was sentenced to 380 months in prison for intentional second-degree murder, while Labarge, 28, was sentenced to 200 months in prison for aiding and abetting.

At the sentencing hearing Friday morning, victim impact statements were read before the court on behalf of Albrecht’s friends and family.
