Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty statement on charges following Minneapolis robberies

Over two weekends in early February a number of robberies were committed in the city of Minneapolis. The Minneapolis Police Department has shared information about their efforts to investigate those incidents and identify those responsible.

Over the course of the two weekend robbery sprees, they referred to our office for charging consideration 12 cases, involving 12 different youth, for various offenses – not all were referred on potential robbery charges.
