Second-Look Tools
Second-look tools allow individuals with criminal convictions to seek relief outside the traditional appellate and post-conviction processes.
The HCAO supports these second-look tools and seeks to help individuals access them. The court makes the ultimate decision on whether to provide relief for all of the below tools except clemency, which is granted by the Board of Pardons.
