A St. Paul Man has been Charged with Sexual Assault, Burglary and Kidnapping

The St. Paul man who led police on a long chase that ended in Wisconsin was charged with sexual assault, burglary and kidnapping, the Hennepin County Attorney announced Thursday.

Jeffrey Groves, 51, faces the charges as a result of breaking into a St. Louis Park home on Nov. 3, assaulting the woman who lived there, holding her for several hours and then forcing her to withdraw money from her account at two ATMs.

Prosecutors will be seeking bail of $500,000. No first appearance has been scheduled.
