Senior Hennepin County Attorney Patrick Lofton Named Up & Coming Attorney

Friday,

Minnesota Lawyer magazine has named Senior Hennepin County Attorney Patrick Lofton as one of its Up & Coming Attorneys.

Patrick is one of 28 lawyers to receive the recognition and most of them are from private law firms. All of those receiving the honor must be in the first decade of practice.

Patrick worked as a law clerk in the Gang Unit in 2011 and after graduation from the University of Mississippi Law School the next year, returned to Hennepin County. He worked in the Community Prosecution Division, Adult Prosecution Division and is currently in the appellate section of the Special Litigation Division. Patrick was one of the two lawyers who prosecuted former police officer Mohamed Noor.
