Thomas Incantalupo sentenced to 288 months in prison for criminal sexual conduct

Friday,

Thomas Incantalupo, 48, of St. Louis Park, was sentenced to 288-months in prison for one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman announced Friday. The prosecutors were seeking 324-months.

On June 18, 2019, Incantalupo, a figure skating coach, pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal sexual conduct for engaging in sex with a skating pupil when she was between 14 and 16 years old.

According to the criminal complaint, the sexual abuse began in August 2015 when the girl was 14, and continued through 2017.

In January 2018, the victim told a friend of the sexual abuse. The victim’s parents soon found out and went to the police. On Jan. 9, 2018, the victim was wired for sound when she met Incanatalupo at a skating rink, saying she wanted no sexual contact between the two of them. Incantalupo acknowledged the hotel visits and the sexual contact in the taped conversation, the complaints states.
