Golden Valley man convicted of second-degree criminal sexual conduct

11/25/2024

A Hennepin County jury returned a guilty verdict against Thomas Michael Everson, 40, on one count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct.

“The victim’s bravery in coming forward made this prosecution possible,” Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty said. “Nobody should have to carry that weight, let alone a child. Our thoughts are with them and their family as they move forward with their lives.”

Mr. Everson’s sentencing is currently scheduled for Feb. 6, 2025, at 9:30 a.m.

Case Number: 27-CR-24-12175
