Hennepin County Attorney’s Office files charges against attorney Allen Al-Zouhayli

On Wednesday, the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office unsealed charges in one case and filed additional charges in another matter against Golden Valley-based attorney Allen Al-Zouhayli, 36.

The unsealed case, 27-CR-25-21726, alleges one count of Threats of Violence. The newly filed case, 27-CR-25-22470, alleges one count of Drugs - 3rd Degree.

“Mr. Al-Zouhayli was in possession of more than ten grams of cocaine, and he also used a gun to try to coerce a former girlfriend into covering up his crime,” Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty said. “These are very serious crimes that include domestic violence and we will seek accountability to protect the victim and our community.”

The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office is reviewing all case files in which Mr. Al-Zouhayli is listed as a defense attorney.
