Gregory Morgan makes first appearance in Hennepin County District Court

Mr. Morgan, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent, faces two counts of second-degree assault.

At Mr. Morgan’s first appearance, the Court imposed the following conditions:

Remain law-abiding
Make all appearances
No possession of weapons
No contact with witnesses
Pre-signed waiver of extradition
No travel outside the United States

“Today’s first appearance is a critical step in our effort to seek accountability, and we are prepared for the different paths this case may take,” Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty said. “Mr. Morgan is entitled to a fair trial, so additional comment from this office will be limited in accordance with the integrity, professionalism, and ethics we demand of our prosecutors.”
